No shortcut for slimming

I learnt this in the hard way. Every people are very different from one another. Some can lose weight easily but very hard to gain weight, and some are vice versa. I definitely fall in the latter category (clearly can be seen from this post title). ;P . Because of this, I am easily tempted with promotion on slimming treatment n bla bla bla. It started when I saw this promotion, 3 times slimming treatment for RM 33 only. Quite a bargain right?! So I decided to give it a try.
During my treatment, the consultant said that 3 times treatment is not enough and promoted for another 5 times of the treatment for RM 130. Still can be tolerated although I might say I’m not really confident that it can make me lose weight up to 15kg.
Then, when I go for the next treatment, another consultant (replacing the previous one) claim that my fat is too stubborn. So the treatment that I was undergoing is not enough. So she promoted another 2 types of treatment that she claim can make me see the result faster. Hah?!!! Stubborn fat??!!! That is because your treatment is not working! And you promoted the more expensive treatment to this easily influence me that don’t know how to say ‘NO, THANK YOU’.
Firstly she offer me 5 times of the treatment for RM 1800..OMG that’s very damn expensive for me. Then she guaranteed that can be paid with monthly installment (still a hell lot of money deducted from my account for 20 months!). Later she got greedier. She said 5 time not enough. So she offered me 10 times treatment with discount for RM 2700.OMG x 100!!!!! So foolish of me for agreeing to that offer. I really regret it.
Then a week later, I got called by my Credit Card bank said that monthly installment cannot be made. WHATTTTT!! Where the hell I want to dig up the money to pay for the RM 2700 lump sum?!!! She promise me monthly installment.
I try to deal with them to cancel the treatment but she said it’s impossible because I’ve already sign the invoice and she also mentioned if i want to cancel have to go to court because it has been stated in the invoice that it is non-refundable and bla bla bla. SHE THREATENED ME?!!! How dare you..
I filed a case to Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna. I gave them 2 months before filling the case which for me is an ample time to settle this matter, but they don’t even contacted me regarding this matter. Yet when i set an appointment to meet up with the manager from Singapore, and I went there, the manager is not there and the consultant just said that she mistakenly thought that I set up appointment for treatment. I was really enraged!. Ni memang sah nak menipu!! After I filed the case, then they keep calling me everyday to withdraw the case. They even offer me half price but I have to create another credit card that can surely give monthly installment. I have to be very strong on this and never back down. They even asked to withdraw then they’ll give me full refund. What the case? Like I’ll believe them. Why don’t they give me the full refund first then I’ll withdraw the case. Don’t bluff la. They’ll do anything to convince you to continue with their treatment and they dont want to pay the full refund. Everyday keep calling me and some even promote some more.
Readers~ Please do not engage with this kind of situation. Please save your money for something more important. I learn it the hard way when I can save myself from taking leave for filing the case and another leave for hearing and all. But it does opened my eyes about the reality and consumer’s rights. Slimming treatment, its just the kind of treatment that you want to pamper yourself, but wrapped sauna is damn torturing. It did not melt the fat. It’s dehydrating the body. Especially if it’s the full body sauna. Frankly, I don’t see any different before and after treatment effect. So why should I continue having these treatments? Better I go for jogging or aerobic class. It is more worth it!! Trust me. I know~ Jangan sebab nak kurus kite korbankan benda2 laen. Just because we want to get slimmer, we sacrifice something else, such as our money and most importantly our healthy body that is a gift from God. Please treasure yourself everyone~

creative kah?

One of myfriends posted something on his wall about the relation of teacher-student roles, and one of his friends attached a video that can be summarized that theconventional learning system is actually suppressing our creativity andimagination.

Afterwatching this, I think my creativity started to wake up. So, I start to surfabout DIY and I came across stuff that I’m really interested at and capable offor now (although there’s reasons of why I’m interested in them) :-

1
Wire jewelry

DIY brooch – wire jewelry extension

Why wire jewelry?

Well. With the influence of my cousin, I am very fascinated with dramatic andgothic-like rings. I surf about them and it’s all over the internet. But,sadly, it was so hard to lay my hands on them as it’s not really a common thingin my place. So I started to dream of making them myself and there goes thesaying “When there’s a will, there’s a way”, and it’s definitely true. I searchfor the supplier and guess what? Its only 10 minutes drive from my house. Istock up my supplies from GM Klang, right across the street of AEON JuscoBukit Tinggi. I never even realize that a group of building can have allkind of things and I have been driving past over it hundreds time. Firstly Ithought that GM Klang stands for GeneralMotor, when it’s actually an initial for General Market. Silly Me ; P.

DIY Brooch

I reallyhave fun making rings from crystal and wire. I even bought the DIY books onwire jewelry. After sometimes, i found out that I have allergy towards theserings. So damn sad T_T. i can’t wear them anymore. So i tried making bracelet, bangles, which i don’t really wear. It’s fun but since I don’t wear them ishould stop making them. I should make something that I would wear all the timeso it won’t become useless right? I wear hijab and the most important thing forhijabis is brooch. So I want to try making them. It was a trial and errorprocess since it’s very hard to find DIY books on brooch-making, at least thekind of brooch that I am wearing. Still in learning process to find the mostsuitable and efficient raw material to make brooch. I like being one of a kindor having ‘one of a kind’ things. So these DIY stuff is really satisfying as Ican make it however I like with whatever colour crystal I like.

Paper flowers

How Iinvolve in paper flower making is totally different than the wire jewelry stuff.Amongst my friend, it is very popular to get married at my age. It’s like virusand I’m affected too (the truth is I really want to get married fast). Afterattending my friends’ wedding and all, I decided to have a personal touch on mywedding day, despite putting all the wedding decorations stuff on the weddingpackages/planner shoulder like everyone did. I want to put my creativity inuse. At first I want to make my own invitation card. There’s few reasonactually on doing things myself. Rather than displaying my creativity, it’sreally the economy that I most concern of. If I order the wedding card that Ireally want (thinking of vintage-themed and lace and all), it will surely beexpensive. But my future spouse is against it, he don’t want me to go throughall the hardships just for invitation card. Then “Bunga Telur”, kind of goodieswith egg that will be giveaways to the wedding guest, comes in mind. It’s notreally hard to make and fewer to be compared to invitation card number. Isearch over the internet and I found interesting ideas that I think i canmaterialize. After I bought paper from a wedding craft shop, I found out Ibought the wrong kind of paper, the hard, crinkled type, instead of crepe paper(tissue-like texture). But it won’t be put to waste as I will make it usefulsince I made it myself. It’s still a paper flower.
