I learnt this in
the hard way. Every people are very different from one another. Some can lose
weight easily but very hard to gain weight, and some are vice versa. I
definitely fall in the latter category (clearly can be seen from this post
title). ;P . Because of this, I am easily tempted with promotion on slimming
treatment n bla bla bla. It started when I saw this promotion, 3 times slimming
treatment for RM 33 only. Quite a bargain right?! So I decided to give it a
try.
During my
treatment, the consultant said that 3 times treatment is not enough and
promoted for another 5 times of the treatment for RM 130. Still can be
tolerated although I might say I’m not really confident that it can make me
lose weight up to 15kg.
Then, when I go
for the next treatment, another consultant (replacing the previous one) claim
that my fat is too stubborn. So the treatment that I was undergoing is not
enough. So she promoted another 2 types of treatment that she claim can make me
see the result faster. Hah?!!! Stubborn fat??!!! That is because your treatment
is not working! And you promoted the more expensive treatment to this easily
influence me that don’t know how to say ‘NO, THANK YOU’.
Firstly she
offer me 5 times of the treatment for RM 1800..OMG that’s very damn expensive
for me. Then she guaranteed that can be paid with monthly installment (still a
hell lot of money deducted from my account for 20 months!). Later she got
greedier. She said 5 time not enough. So she offered me 10 times treatment with
discount for RM 2700.OMG x 100!!!!! So foolish of me for agreeing to that
offer. I really regret it.
Then a week
later, I got called by my Credit Card bank said that monthly installment cannot
be made. WHATTTTT!! Where the hell I want to dig up the money to pay for the RM
2700 lump sum?!!! She promise me monthly installment.
I try to deal
with them to cancel the treatment but she said it’s impossible because I’ve
already sign the invoice and she also mentioned if i want to cancel have to go to court
because it has been stated in the invoice that it is non-refundable and bla bla
bla. SHE THREATENED ME?!!! How dare you..
I filed a case
to
Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna. I gave them 2 months before filling the case which for me is an ample time to settle this matter, but they don’t even contacted me regarding this matter. Yet when i set an appointment to meet up with the manager from Singapore, and I went there, the manager is not there and the consultant just said that she mistakenly thought that I set up appointment for treatment. I was really enraged!.
Ni memang sah nak menipu!! After I filed the case,
then they keep calling me everyday to withdraw the case. They even offer me
half price but I have to create another credit card that can surely give monthly
installment. I have to be very strong on this and never back down. They even
asked to withdraw then they’ll give me full refund. What the case? Like I’ll
believe them. Why don’t they give me the full refund first then I’ll withdraw
the case. Don’t bluff la. They’ll do anything to convince you to continue with their
treatment and they dont want to pay the full refund. Everyday keep calling me and some even promote some more.
Readers~ Please
do not engage with this kind of situation. Please save your money for something
more important. I learn it the hard way when I can save myself from taking
leave for filing the case and another leave for hearing and all. But it does
opened my eyes about the reality and consumer’s rights. Slimming treatment, its
just the kind of treatment that you want to pamper yourself, but wrapped sauna
is damn torturing. It did not melt the fat. It’s dehydrating the body.
Especially if it’s the full body sauna. Frankly, I don’t see any different
before and after treatment effect. So why should I continue having these
treatments? Better I go for jogging or aerobic class. It is more worth it!! Trust me. I know~ Jangan sebab nak kurus kite korbankan benda2 laen. Just because we want to get slimmer, we sacrifice something else, such as our money and most importantly our healthy body that is a gift from God. Please treasure yourself everyone~
