I'm Engaged!!!

Although it had happen on last Eid Ul-Adha, I still wanna post this..hehe

 

DIY Sireh Junjung

My cousin and I made this Sireh Junjung. Yay!!! it turns out to be very beautiful. Apart from Sireh leaves, we also used Chrysanthemum and orchids.. I dunno what that small flowers are called. huhu initially I am a bit worried about using the orchids.. How to use it and its very delicate..but it turns out Ok afterall..Yippeee!!

 

This cake was made by my cousin as she is a chef and also opened up bakery business for weddings and events and candy buffet.. can checkout her works HERE 

 

 

 This lovely cookies were also made by her to surprise me.. YAY!!!really love it..

I'm wearing a dress which I purchased at Plaza Alam Sentral at a very cheap price and embellished them more with pearls and beads..huhu of course la.. I dont have the pic with me..huuuu... on that day, i'm trusting my cousin for my makeup..it took almost 2 hours..haha just after she finish my makeup, the groom party arrived..Of course i'm staying in my room with my cousin for CAM-WHORING.. haha then my cousin went out to check out what happen, suddenly my mom asked me to come out..WHAT? settle already? so fast..huhu i was not that nervous when my future mother-in-law put the ring on my finger.. The nervousness comes later when people asked my fiancee and i for a picture together..MALU!!

~Raye 2009~

~1^st Raya~

Seperti biase, aku menyambut HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI di rumah adik kepade abah di Singapore (Jelebu Road, Bukit Panjang) kerane atuk dan nenekku tinggal bersame mereka (paman dan mak usu). Rutin raye ini telah ku lalui sejak 1994 selepas atuk sebelah ibu meninggal.

Rase bosan seperti duduk di sangkar burung terubat apabila kami sekeluarga pergi beraye di rumah nenek usu belah ibu pula (kebetulan dok kat Singapore gak, kim tian kot namenye). Setiap tahun nenek usu bagi beberape kuntum bunge ros sebab die tahu aku suke bunge( it’s started when I asked her for a rose 2-3 years back. Then she give me bunge for every raye). Selepas asar kami bertolak pulang ke tanahair. Sebelum balik ke rumah, kami singgah di air baloi, pontian, umah embah busu belah abah pulak. Then baru balek umah.

~2^nd Raya~

Sebelum bertolak ke Selangor (kampung ibu), kami beraye di rumah ex-jiran @ mak angkat adik. Kami meneruskan perjalanan sehingga ke penghujung Pulau Indah, Klang. Destinasi pertame adalah rumah nenek ika. Selalunye kami sampai btol2 masok zohor, so nenek ika akan sediekan lunch. Tapi raye tahun ni kami sampai lambat sket so no lunch there. Next destination is nenek dawim’s house yang btol2 depan umah nenek ika. Selepas itu kami pergi ke teluk gong untuk melawat nenek alang pula.

~3^rd Raye~

Semue adek beradek ibu berkumpul di rumah mak long. Sort of gathering la. Family pak itam tak dapat datang. Katenye kete rosak. Sangat seronok sebab dapat jumpe sume orang. sume kezen2 pon da hensem skarang. Well, our family have more boys than girls. Ratio laki:pompuan is 29:10. Even anak-anak buah pon lebih ramai lelaki dari pompuan. Tak percaye lak tengok my kezen (lelaki) at my age da kawen and ade anak yang berumur 2-3 years while the other two and me (all at the same age) still childishly playing around.

Pastu kami sekeluarge dan keluarge ude pergi melawat atok usu yg saket (lembah klang). Petangnye, aku, adek-adek, dan kakak bam sempat bermain layang-layang di tasek pebende namenye kat Bandar baru bangi.

Sebelum pulang ke rumah kami singgah di nilai 3 untuk membeli langsir raye. Then balek tros ke rumah. Time to get beauty sleep. Zzzz ~

Happy 22nd Birthday to Me

Last friday was my 22nd birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! Yeay! I had been waiting for the day to come. Of course. Everybody does, right? well, since at that particular day, I’d started a journey around Sabah with 8 of my friends (which will be explain more in the next post) as early as 9 a.m. so i have miss so many birthday wishes since i could not attend the friday class. No regrets since my friends have messaged and facebook-ing me earlier of the day wishing me happy birthday. Some of them gave me birthday gifts even a day before. thanks a lot to ez and anem for such cute gifts. Really appreciate it. My 8 friends (yati, yan, zara, fei, chiao eing, shalany, pija and rey) and I were celebrating it at the persiaran beach in Tawau that very night. Happy me because we were celebrating my birthday elsewhere than kk or kluang or seremban. They have bought me mango cheesecake (although it did not taste like a cheesecake at all). they asked me to make a wish before I blew up the 4 candles (2 big ones represent 10 years each and 2 small ones represent 1 year). Instead I wished for several wishes:-

· May Allah bless me and whatever I am doing

· Raise my CGPA a bit – hehe~

· I want to get married soon – this is the most crucial one~

We sure have a bundle of laugh at that time, behaving like 'sakai' people that turns people heads. Thanks guys. Love you always.
